Allstarz USA Wireless Internet

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get service?
We provide internet access using national cell tower networks. We ship you a modem already activated and ready to go and will provide complete instructions on how to set up your new service.
Where are your services available?
If you have cell service inside your home, typically our service will work well. We are happy to check coverage and talk to you about your specific location, just click the Inquire About Service button below.
Are there any long-term contracts?
No! We provide high speed internet services without limits and without pesky contracts.
How does the risk free trial work?
Our 30 day trail begins the day of delivery and extends up to 7 days for return of equipment. Customer must notify us within 14 days of their intent to cancel service. 7 additional days will be allowed for return of equipment. All equipment , including power source, must be returned in ''as new condition''. Customer will be refunded the cost of equipment minus a 15% restocking fee. All data services, activation charges and shipping is non-refundable.
Can this be used for a business?
Yes! We provide service to both home users, business customers and mobile RV customers.
Why can't I just use my cell phone data and tether to it?
Your cell phone provider is going to limit you to 5-10 Gigabytes of data and then throttle your speeds. That’s enough for a couple of HD movies before you see speeds slow. Our service comes with a dedicated device with an Ethernet output. This means you can plug the modem into a router and connect hard wired devices as well as wireless devices. If you tether to your phone data all your home devices will have to connect to your phone to use the internet. Our device can also connect to an outside antenna for better reception and increased speeds, in case cell coverage at your home is on the outer range of the cell tower signal.
What if I move? Can I take this service with me?
You can take the service with you to a new location, however you will need to confirm there is cell signal present at the new location. If the signal present at the new location is a different carrier than what you have, we can send you a sim card with a different provider for a nominal fee.
What speeds can I expect?
We cannot guarantee any speeds, but we have seen download speeds as high as 150mbps and upload speeds as high as 40mbps. It all depends on how far you are from the tower that you are connected to and the amount of congestion there is on that tower. If your speeds are not good, then you may be on the outside of the signal from that tower, as congestion is typically temporary. If this is the case, refer to the FAQ on how to get the best speeds. Averages are between 25-40 mbps down.
Do I need a wireless router as well as a modem?
In most cases no. Our plug and play modems are enough for most locations. However if you need a consultation about the best Modem/Router combo to use, please contact us, we are able to provide small and large scale home wifi coverage options.
How does Installation Work?
Installation can be as easy as simply plugging in the modem and using it. This is the best-case scenario, and in a lot of cases this is all that’s necessary. Should you be on the outside of the range of the cell signal, refer to the FAQ “What can I do to make sure I’m getting the best speeds available?”. To get the most out of your modem speeds, you can install an outdoor antenna or cell booster, for this option you will also need a router.
What are your terms and conditions?
30 Day, No Risk Money Back Guarantee on hardware minus 15% restocking fee. Modem must be returned in "like new" condition and refund will be reissued.
